Today, more than ever, home health is a realistic approach to healthcare. The familarity and comfort of home surroundings, and having family close-by; all have positive effects on the client's recovery process. Home health provides a continuum of care for clients that are recovering from an acute illness or injury supporting a safe and effective transition from institutional stays such as in hospitals and nursing homes. It also ensures the medical and safety/ functional needs of clients with chronic conditions are appropriately addressed from the comforts of their homes.  

AmeriCare Health Services, LLC, provides a complete range of home health services that include skilled nursing, physical/ occupational and speech therapies, home health aides, and medical social work. AmeriCare  is also among the few home health agencies nationwide that provide home tele-health services. It serves fifteen counties in northwest Ohio through offices located in Toledo, Defiance, Bryan, Fremont and Findlay, Ohio. A nurse is on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
